Lance Roberts

C.E.O

Lance Roberts has spent over 20 years in the financial services industry. His passion for sports, and philanthropy has resulted in the creation of Pro Academy Footballers.

“Seeing great young talent disbanded after spending a number of years learning their trade is disappointing. I want to ensure that these young energetic individuals are given every opportunity to succeed in their chosen profession.”

Nick Green

Head of Behavioural Analysis

Nicholas Green is a HR practitioner with, in excess of, 20 years experience. He is responsible for maturing the behavioural development of prospective players.

Joe Rogers

Head of Mobility

Joe has developed techniques to help revolutionise the way people train. Detailed focus on the movement and flexibility of an individual has resulted in Joe aiding the return to sport for many individuals.

Joe has experience of working with elite level athletes in rugby union and Olympic sports and is an accredited strength and conditioning coach with the UKSCA

Gary Warman

Senior Negotiator

Gary has spent over 30 years in the financial services industry. He is well connected and has contacts which provide services to current professional footballers.

Gary has played football at a good non league standard. His knowledge and passion for the game make him a valuable member of our team.

Shelley Samuels

Head Counsellor (Integrative Counsellor, mBACP (dip))

As a qualified Integrative Counsellor, Shelley works with clients of all ages in educational institutions, private and agency settings – either on a one:one basis in person or via facetime.

Working together with clients to build a trusting relationship to explore issues they are struggling with and focusing on their goals. Working in a safe, empathic, confidential space to listen in a non-judgemental way allows the client to apply autonomy, build resilience and confidence, using a variety of counselling theory techniques tailored to the clients needs and requirements. Shelley’s continuing professional development includes mindfulness which is incorporated into her practice.

Shelley is a member of the BACP adhering to the ethical framework of good practice and currently have over 4000 hours experience.

Lloyd Cowan

Head of Performance

Lloyd Cowan MBE is a former British track and field athlete, who specialised in the 110 and 400 metres hurdles.

After retiring from athletics Lloyd started coaching athletics. He has coached a number of successful athletes to include Christine Ohuruogu, the former 400 metres Olympic, World and Commonwealth Champion; Simeon Williamson, the former British 100 metres champion; and Andy Turner, the former European and Commonwealth 110 metres hurdles champion.

Lloyd has developed a tailored programme focused on improving a footballer’s speed, power and endurance.
